Addinol Lube Oil GmbH opened its new solar farm in the presence of the Minister President of Saxony-Anhalt Dr. Reiner Haseloff. "The project is an impressive demonstration of the potential of solar energy in a commercial and industrial context. Addinol has taken a very far-sighted approach and planned the solar farm as part of its current investment program. The project is an important foundation for the company's ongoing successful development. In the future, one third of its electricity requirements will be met by the solar farm," explained Haseloff.
The energy crisis has made it clear how important it is to have an independent energy supply. The crisis is an additional driving force behind the transformation of Saxony-Anhalt. The last three decades have been a period of constant change. The region and, in particular, the coal-mining area are currently undergoing a process of fundamental transformation, as Haseloff emphasized.
Renewable energies have long since been an important factor in the success of Saxony-Anhalt. "We need to push ahead with the development of renewable energies to create the green hydrogen region that we are working toward. The Saxony-Anhalt hydrogen strategy forms the framework for this," said the Minister President.
