NETWORKING-EVENT: Brazilian Startups & German Companies of the Bioeconomy Location Saxony-Anhalt

Sustainable and innovative production processes are becoming more and more important and, accordingly, are increasingly the focus of companies. Consumers also prefer more and more certified natural products to contribute to sustainability.
The Chamber of Industry and Commerce, the Investment and Marketing Corporation Saxony-Anhalt, the Innovation and Start-up Centre Magdeburg and the German-Brazilian Chamber of Industry and Commerce in Rio de Janeiro cordially invite you to get to know 20 Brazilian start-ups from the fields of bioeconomy and innovation on Wednesday, 7 December, from 9:00 to 12:00 at IGZ - Innovation and Start-up Centre Magdeburg (Steinfeldstraße 3, 39179 Barleben).
The companies come mainly from the four business fields:
- Food & Beverage, Foodtech,
- Green- & Agrotech: circular economy, bio-residues, green energy, sustainable agriculture,
- hygiene, bio-cosmetics and herbal medicines, and
- Software / e-commerce solutions
They intend to initiate business and cooperation opportunities with German companies and investors as well as to learn about Germany's bioeconomy and innovation ecosystem.
The event will be organised by the German-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Rio de Janeiro for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) as part of a market exploration trip to Saxony-Anhalt and Berlin-Brandenburg from 05 to 13 December 2022. The project aims to promote the business ecosystem as well as the bioeconomy in the Amazon region, to internationalise small businesses and make them competitive, and to use the region's resources more sustainably. The project promotes the economic growth of the location and also contributes to the implementation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations.
Participation is free of charge and is open to companies, investors, industry representatives and multipliers.
