FEV invests 6 million euros in 4 test benches. The subsidiary of the global FEV Group, based in Aachen, runs durability tests on combustion engines for automotive manufacturers at its Brehna site. Over recent months, the firm has invested around six million euros in constructing additional test benches and created ten new jobs. The project received investment support of around 1.16 million Euros from the “Verbesserung der regionalen Wirtschaftsstruktur” fund (GRW), a regional business infrastructure development programme run by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. “Sustainable development of the Brehna site is extremely important to FEV. It is the only way to secure existing jobs and create new positions for qualified staff in a highly competitive international environment.
