Thanks to innovative applications of Industry 4.0 concepts, the digital transformation succeeds here. They are supported by the Institut für Automation und Kommunikation (ifak), which develops web-based platforms, application tools and business models within the framework of cooperative research projects.
Mobile water power
The members of the joint venture flussstrom.de are also pursuing new paths. They are developing and testing mobile modules that continuously extract energy from flowing water. As a result, small water power plants are being created in efficient series production that can be transported easily to the point of use.
