RKW Sites in Saxony-Anhalt on the Road to Success
With Sites in Unseburg and Halberstadt, Saxony-Anhalt is an important region for the RKW Group. The RKW Site in Unseburg is being expanded and is adding interesting jobs. Thanks to investments of over EUR 1 million, all signs are pointing to growth. “RKW’s Sites in Saxony-Anhalt provide about 90 people with work and as a training company, also perspectives for young people. Safe jobs, further and in-house training and ecological responsibility are important to us as a medium-sized, family-owned company” said Harald Biederbick, the Chairman of the RKW Group. “With our expansion and investments in Unseburg, we are clearly signaling our commitment to the business location Sachsen-Anhalt”. CHE ranking certifies excellent study conditions
The study conditions in mechanical engineering, process engineering, chemical engineering, biological engineering and educational science at the Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg have been awarded top ratings in the latest CHE ranking. The course in educational science at the University of Magdeburg was awarded a green point for its teaching offer which was assessed as an excellent course of study on the basis of a traffic light system. Investment Bank with strong balance sheet and a "great start" to the EU funding period
In the 2015 year of funding, the Investment Bank of Saxony-Anhalt (IB) continued along its successful entrepreneurial and financial path. With a balance sheet total of 2.142 bn. Euros (+4.1 million Euros), another successful result has been attained. Read more.
Hermes Fulfilment initialises modern order picking and sorting technology
Hermes Fulfilment GmbH has extended its dispatch centre in the Südhafen for its fashion logistics at its Haldensleben site (Saxony-Anhalt), creating one of the most modern logistics facilities in Germany. The Otto Group, which Hermes Fulfilment is a part of, has invested €15 million in the installation of new order picking and sorting technology. Read more.
