The Magdeburger Technologieinstitut is celebrating 20 years of existence. Minister President Reiner Haseloff praised the effect of Technologietransfer- und Innovationsförderung Magdeburg GmbH (tti) in Magdeburg today with the following words: "Technologietransfer- und Innovationsförderung Magdeburg GmbH is an essential interface between research and medium-sized businesses. And some founders of innovative companies would not have been able to realise their ideas without the institute's assistance." Read more here.On 16th February, KSB took over 80% of T. Smedegaard A/S based in Copenhagen. The company, founded in 1942, with around 80 employees, manufactures circulation pumps such as the ones used in heating systems. It has two production sites in Denmark and in Switzerland as well as other locations in Great Britain and in Sweden.Find out more.Saxony-Anhalt is quite well-positioned in terms of infrastructure with 600 kilometres of navigable inland waterway, 18 harbours and transhipment points, a road network featuring 11,000 kilometres and a railway network that is among the most extensive worldwide. In order to present "Saxony-Anhalt's logistical masterpieces" effectively, 18 media representatives from Germany, China, Austria and the MENA region will travel through the state for two days and visit companies at the invitation of the Investment and Marketing Corporation Saxony-Anhalt (IMG) in order to get a look behind the scenes.
