City of Halle (Saale) Real Estate Office — participant in urban development

In particular, the increasing importance of the city as media centre, science and technology location necessitates a greater supply of high-quality housing offers. Therefore in coordination with other City of Halle technical agencies, particularly the City Planning Office, several new locations for reconstruction with single family houses as well as properties for multi-storey housing construction within existing housing areas are being prepared for marketing. In this phase, the Real Estate Office assumes the function of coordinator between the involved agencies in order to be already able to resolve as many of the relevant problems as possible beforehand for the sale and development potential or usability of properties, and also to be able to comprehensive advise prospective buyers.

Of course, in cooperation with the Economic Promotion Office the Real Estate Office also supports resident enterprises with the expansion of their corporate locations and new commercial settlements with specific property offers.

In addition, potential investors, property developers and private parties willing to develop the land can have themselves included in a file of interested parties and be regularly informed about respective current offers from the Real Estate Office in accordance with the desired utilisation.

A Real Estate Office employee will be on the scene at the EXPO REAL 2010 and will present selected building sites and real estate for commercial and residential utilisation. Interested parties can obtain exposés of the offered properties and will be competently advised.
