The challenges in the automotive and supplier industry do not stop at national borders. This makes cross-border exchange all the more important - open, practical, at eye level. With this event, we are creating a platform for dialog and networking between Saxony-Anhalt and neighboring federal states. The focus is on tried-and-tested approaches, practical experience and concrete potential in the automotive industry and related business areas.
With the Lower Saxony automotive clusters ReTraSON and neu/wagen , we have two strong cooperation partners at our side whose findings from the structural change can provide impetus for the entire region. The aim is to learn from each other, identify synergies and jointly develop viable paths to transformation. The new SAHREG Automotive cluster from Saxony-Anhalt will be making its first appearance.

The event will be opened with words of welcome from Stefanie Pötzsch, State Secretary in the Ministry of Economics, Tourism, Agriculture and Forestry of Saxony-Anhalt, and Dr. Jens Katzek, Managing Director of the Automotive Cluster East Germany.
In three panel discussions, representatives from clusters, business and science from both federal states will meet to talk about experiences, development dynamics and future prospects.
Participants from Lower Saxony include Thomas Ahlswede-Brech (Allianz für die Region), Dr.-Ing. Michael Merwart (Transformationsnetzwerk neu/wagen Region Hannover), Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Vietor (Niedersächsisches Forschungszentrum Fahrzeugtechnik), Oliver Rosen (Schäflein Logistics) and Dennis Bank (Institut für Mechatronische Systeme der Leibniz Universität Hannover). Robert Weishaupt (Comateq GmbH), Prof. Dr.-Ing. Florian Welzel (Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences) and Jens Lücke (SAHREG Automotive) are represented from Saxony-Anhalt.
