Saxony-Anhalt's Minister of Economic Affairs, Sven Schulze, will be attending the inauguration of two large-scale research devices at the Fraunhofer Institute for Microstructure of Materials and Systems IMWS in Halle (Saale) on Wednesday, November 26, and will give a welcoming address.
The two high-performance microscopes will enable materials to be analyzed more precisely and new materials for future technologies to be developed more quickly - from artificial intelligence to climate-neutral mobility and microelectronics. The procurement of the large-scale devices was funded by the federal government and the state of Saxony-Anhalt.
