On Wednesday, 3 December, Saxony-Anhalt's Minister of Economic Affairs, Sven Schulze, will hand over the grant notification for the new Business Development Center (BDC) building on the Weinberg Campus in Halle (Saale) to the Technology Park's Managing Director, Dr Ulf-Marten Schmieder. The new building will receive 56.1 million euros in funding from the federal government and the state of Saxony-Anhalt as part of the Joint Task for the Improvement of Regional Economic Structures (GRW).
The new building is a central component of the further development of the technology and start-up center. It will create significantly more space for innovation and start-ups on what is already the largest technology park in Central Germany at 134 hectares.
