State Secretary for Tourism Stefanie Pötzsch at the ITB press brunch

Investitions- und Marketinggesellschaft Sachsen-Anhalt mbH (IMG) is presenting Saxony-Anhalt as a travel destination at the 60th International Tourism Exchange (ITB) in Berlin. At a press brunch, current data from the State Statistical Office on the travel year 2025 and key travel trends for 2026 will be presented and developments for the industry will be classified. One of the thematic highlights will be the phased opening of the Quedlinburg Collegiate World Heritage Site, which begins on March 28. This will begin with the redesigned presentation of the Collegiate Church of St. Servatii with its important cathedral treasures. With this reopening, Saxony-Anhalt is sending out a strong cultural and tourism policy signal. Saxony-Anhalt's state capital Magdeburg is looking forward to an anniversary with radiance: from May 1 to October 31, 2027, the "Festival of Modernity" will build a bridge from the past to the present.
