Bernburg. Saxony-Anhalt's Minister of Economic Affairs and Agriculture Sven Schulze and State Secretary of Agriculture Gert Zender have launched the Saxony-Anhalt Agricultural Atlas. The web application was presented today as part of the "Smart Farming: Artificial Intelligence in Agriculture" digitalization day in Bernburg.
The Agraratlas bundles agriculturally relevant geodata from the fields of agriculture, environment and spatial planning and makes it available in a modern web application. The portal thus offers a central source of information for farmers, agricultural consultants, authorities and other users who require precise and up-to-date data for their work.

The introduction of the GeoBox viewer is planned for 2026. This extension will provide additional time series data, knowledge tools and information from the agrometeorological monitoring network. This will give farmers and agricultural advisors even more targeted access to the specific information they need for their daily work. This guarantees that the data is particularly up-to-date, which is of key importance for agriculture.
The Agricultural Atlas was developed with the support of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Digital Affairs and in cooperation with the State Institute for Agriculture and Horticulture (LLG), the State Office for Surveying and Geoinformation (LVermGeo) and the IT service provider Dataport.
