Next Wednesday, the HANDWERKSFORUM OST will once again take place as part of "HANDWERK live" at the Leipzig trade fair. The Minister President of the Free State of Thuringia, Mario Voigt, had confirmed his attendance for the high-caliber panel. Following his cancellation last Friday, the Minister President of Saxony-Anhalt, Sven Schulze, will now take part in the discussion.
The panel discussion on February 4 at 3 p.m. in Hall 5 will be attended by

The discussion is entitled "Bureaucracy suffocates the skilled trades - when will politics provide real relief?"
In the run-up to the event, the state secretaries for economic affairs and chief executives of the eastern German chambers of skilled crafts will meet for their annual conference - a clear signal of the importance of the skilled crafts location in the region. The conference takes place in a closed session.
For the sixth time, the Chambers of Skilled Crafts from Thuringia, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, Berlin, Brandenburg and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania are welcoming leading representatives from politics and business in cooperation with Leipziger Messe.
