Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, the Center of Excellence for Algal Biotechnology (CAB), and Algenfarm Klötze GmbH & Co. KG are hosting the 4th Central German Algae Roundtable. The event will take place on May 5 and 6, 2026, at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Köthen. The event will feature keynote presentations and discussions on the various future applications of algae—ranging from functional foods and bioactive compounds to bioplastics and algae oil.
In addition, an interactive mini-algae cooking class is on the agenda for May 5, starting at 5:00 p.m. Participants include State Secretary for Economic Affairs Stefanie Pötzsch.
