Overview of the financing instruments
Investment grants for business premises in Saxony-Anhalt:
- up to 35 % for small companies
- up to 25 % for medium-sized companies
- up to 15 % for large companies
- Exceptions:
- LK Mansfeld Südharz + 5 % each
- LK Saalekreis
- City of Magdeburg - 5 % each
The definition of company size is based on the EU Directive.
- Establishment of a permanent establishment (new investment)
- Realization of an expansion investment
- Diversification of a permanent establishment
- Creation of new or safeguarding of permanent jobs
- Eligible investment volume 750,000 euros per newly created job
- 500,000 euros per secured job for investments in construction and expansion
- Promotion of in-company training and personnel and organizational development in companies
- Free, tailor-made qualification, also practice-oriented at the future workplace
- up to 70% guarantee on investment loans via the Bürgschaftsbank Sachsen-Anhalt GmbH

MBG supports companies with silent and open participations. These serve as equity substitutes or supplementary financing. For example, MBG supports start-ups, growth, company succession and innovations. The amounts are usually between around 25,000 euros and 1 million euros. In exceptional cases, up to 2.5 million euros are also possible.
