The town of Hoym/Anhalt is located on the B6 between Aschersleben and Quedlinburg and on the River Selke. The town has around 3000 inhabitants. Hoym is the largest district of the town of Seeland. After reunification, the then town of Hoym concentrated primarily on the development of numerous medium-sized businesses and the development of the industrial estate, which is located to the south and north of the B6 and covers 21.05 hectares of land available for development.
