Innovation location with charisma
The Weinberg Campus Technology Park in Halle (Saale) is the largest science and technology park in Central Germany. More than 100 companies from the fields of life sciences and material sciences, internationally renowned research institutions and the natural sciences faculties of Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg work closely together on a unique campus.
With around 6,000 scientists and employees as well as a new development area with around 4,000 residents, the Weinberg Campus is a lively district with a high density of innovation. The accelerator for tech start-ups in Saxony-Anhalt specifically promotes growth and entrepreneurial spirit.
The success story of the location began in 1993 with the construction of a technology and start-up center. Then as now, the aim was to create close links between science and business. Since then, more than 250 companies have successfully settled here - on a site with an academic tradition and an industrial past.
