Growth center for pharmaceuticals and biotechnology
Vaccines have been developed and produced at the Dessau site in Saxony-Anhalt since 1921. Today, the Biopharmapark Dessau is located HERE, on a 120-hectare site. The ultra-modern site, located 90 kilometers south of Berlin and 60 kilometers north of Leipzig, has developed into an internationally active center of pharmaceutical and biotechnology.
The companies based here are characterized by extensive expertise in pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging, innovative vaccine technology, quality control, compliance and research and development. Both up-and-coming start-ups and established companies at Biopharmapark Dessau benefit from many years of experience along the entire value chain - from product development to research and quality management. They have access to an efficient, established production infrastructure and benefit from a functioning production infrastructure - above all that of IDT Biologika, which emerged from the traditional vaccine plant.
Technik-Energie-Wasser Servicegesellschaft mbH (TEW) was founded to develop the Biopharmapark Dessau. It offers companies comprehensive infrastructure services in the form of an "all-round carefree package".
