In the south-west of Magdeburg, a new supra-regional industrial and commercial area is being created on a total area of 1,100 hectares (gross) - the High-Tech Park.

This location brings together suppliers, technology companies, scientific institutions, start-ups, service providers and commercial enterprises in one place. The High-Tech Park, the largest industrial area in Saxony-Anhalt with a gross area of 1,100 hectares, presents itself as a pioneering step into the future. Of this total area, around 700 hectares are available as open space.

A modern campus is being built in the center of the site, which will specifically promote the exchange between business and science. For the Magdeburg region, the high-tech park means several thousand new jobs in future-oriented sectors as well as long-term impetus for innovation, growth and international competitiveness.

Site infrastructure

The emerging high-tech park in the district of Langenweddingen is developing into an industrial and commercial location of supra-regional importance. The convenient location with links to the main road and freeway as well as the proximity to the city meet the highest demands for a modern and future-oriented industrial location. The sites are aimed in particular at companies from the semiconductor industry, other high-tech sectors and their suppliers.
