Globally leading Li-ion battery group Farasis announces to set up battery factory in Bitterfeld-Wolfen
Beginning at the end of 2022, the production capacity is to be expanded continuously on an annual basis from an initial 6 to 10 Gigawatt hours (GWh) purely for electric vehicles and at least 600 new jobs will be created.
Europe's first gigafactory for battery storage systems
The new production line, warehouse and offices will be fully supplied with solar energy, and by the final phase, annual production will have reached over one GWh in an area of 20,000 sqm.
