Due to its new concept for the treatment of Alzheimer's disease, the development of a new diabetes therapy and numerous patents, the company is an internationally recognized leader in the field of biotechnology.
Aided by resources from the EU Structural Fund their premises could be expanded and the research facilities extended. The funding of their research and development contributes considerably to the future sustainability of Saxony-Anhalt, in so far as it opens up further development potential for highly qualified technical employees. With the backing of Probiodrug AG the innovative growth of Saxony-Anhalt is further assured.
Since 2000, 6.000 projects in Saxony-Anhalt have been aided by EU Structural Fund resources.
This enabled the creation of around 24,000 jobs, and secured a further 78,400 jobs.
