M.E.N.A. Region

Saxony-Anhalt has fostered contacts in the MENA states and presented itself for quite some time, among other things at the World Future Energy Summit, Jeddah Economic Forum and the Saudi Arabian Conference in Riyadh. The Deutsch-Jordanische Univeristät (German-Jordanian University) in Amman and the Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences have been working together for several years as good partners. Co-operations such as this illustrate the special relationships which Saxony-Anhalt fosters with countries among the MENA states. Lasting cooperation projects exist in the meantime. The fields of renewable energies and venture capital are essential points of marketing.
