The creative industry in Saxony-Anhalt may be small, but it’s really got something. The state has three design colleges, including the famous Burg Giebichenstein. There is a tradition of design in the Bauhaus state. Today, creative minds achieve success mainly in industrial design. Halle (Saale) also enjoys an especially outstanding reputation as a location for filmmakers.
