The Investitions- und Marketinggesellschaft mbH (IMG) maintains its own foreign representation in China. The site, the Chinese megacity of Jiangyin, about 181 kilometres west of Shanghai in the province of Jiangsu, has the highest GDP per head anywhere in China. Here on-site, IMG supports Chinese companies in their settlement and investment projects in Saxony-Anhalt. Chinese companies, who have already become successfully established in our Bundesland, benefit from positive location factors and business-friendly conditions.

China, the largest Asian trading partner of Germany, is at number four in the list of main supplying and main consumer countries. In 2009, the value of goods for German exports was about €36.5 billion. The value of imports was even higher at about €55.5 billion.
