CeBIT 2012

CeBIT is the world's largest trade fair showcasing digital IT and telecommunications solutions for home and work environments. The key target groups are users from industry, the wholesale/retail sector, skilled trades, banks, the services sector, government agencies, science and all users passionate about technology. CeBIT offers an international platform for comparing notes on current industry trends, networking, and product presentations.

With "Managing Trust" as this years keynote theme, CeBIT – the world’s most important event for the digital economy – moves the topics trust and security in the digital age into the spotlight for the 2012 event. “Trust and security in the digital world are mutual concerns for governments, economies and consumers.

Managing trust describes the process of building confidence as a basis for progress and growth", said Ernst Raue, the Deutsche Messe Board Member responsible for CeBIT, on Monday in Hannover. "The greater the trust in the solutions and applications of the international ICT industry, the faster the global economy can grow. Trust is not a soft factor – it is an essential pillar of economic activity that must be firmly established and maintained."

Brazil is the partner country at this year’s CeBit. In this role, Brasil will underline its credentials as a leading ICT nation with strong growth potential and innovative capabilities.

Saxony-Anhalt at the CeBit

From Mai 6th to May 10th 2012, Saxony-Anhalt presented its development in economy and research at the CeBit in Hannover which was again showplace for the players of the industry. Exhibitors form Saxony-Anhalt use the opportunity to present new technology and products.
